Game Maker Day 2
Today we made a platform game, in which your character has to beat obstacles. These obstacles included blocks, and bad guys shooting lasers. We learned how to create variables, alarms, and also camera scrolling. We learned how to create an object, such as the laser beams that allowed us to be to shoot the enemy. This also was the same process we used to make the bad guys shoot it at the player. Also, we learned how to animate your character. For example, when your character turns right, left, up, and down the faces change according to the angle that your character is in. I learned lot’s of things today, and I can’t wait to make more games.
